Good to know
- β’ South Korea's guidance is written for wartime emergencies (civil air-defence warnings, shelters, chemical, biological and nuclear attack).
- β’ After a nuclear explosion, the guide says radiation falls to about 1/1,000 after two weeks, so shelters should prepare water and food for 2 weeks or more.
- β’ In shelters: follow the manager's instructions, do not cook with fire, avoid unnecessary phone calls, listen to government broadcasts and ignore rumours on social media. Do not hoard supplies.
- β’ No official litres-per-day water figure was found.
